Can You Drink In-N-Out's Vanilla Milkshake After A Workout?
The answer is obviously NO. But imagine if In-N-Out milkshakes were actually good for you post-working out? This recipe is basically making that dream come true. I make this post-workout vanilla shake for my client all the time because it's packed with protein and nutrients to ensure proper recovery- and it taste so rich and creamy you can't even tell it's made without milk.
Ingredients:
1 organic banana
1/2 cup frozen bananas
3/4 cup vanilla almond milk
1.5 scoops of vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp almond butter
1-2 pitted dates (depending on preferred level of sweetness)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
A touch of raw honey
Optional: collagen protein powder
Instructions:
Throw everything in a blender and blend on high till smooth and creamy. Adjust consistency by adding more almond milk or more frozen bananas, adjust sweetness by adding honey!
